NAMI PA, Main Line News and Offerings
NAMI PA, Main Line will be offering two sessions of Family-to-Family (F2F) this fall. Family-to-Family is a course structured to help family members understand and support a relative diagnosed with a serious mental illness while maintaining their own well-being.
- Family-to-Family at LANKENAU Medical Center in Wynnewood will begin in mid-September (date to be posted), and will meet once a week for 12 consecutive weeks from 7-9:30 p.m. on Tuesdays. For questions or to register, contact Judy Green at 610-668-7917 or F2FMainLine@aol.com.

Cognitive therapy for psychosis involves training to identify automatic thoughts and examine them to see if they are supported by evidence. If a person can change his/her thoughts in response to a situation, this can change the emotional behavioral and psychological suggestions for family members to help a relative with psychosis that is consistent with a cognitive behavioral therapy approach.
Mental Health Partnerships is seeking Peer Advocacy Fellows. Fellows will attend six interactive and engaging sessions to learn about different facets of advocacy, and how to make incremental change in the mental health system. Lunch will be provided during each session, Fellows may also be eligible for stipends for public speaking and other leadership activities at events, following full completion of the program.
